ZenTea’s Master Matcha Bamboo Whisk (Chasen) is meticulously handcrafted from a single piece of premium Japanese bamboo by Chasen Masters in Takayama. Featuring 120 delicate, curved tines, it is designed to create a smooth, frothy cup of matcha, free from clumps—perfect for authentic preparation of both usucha (thin matcha) and koicha (thick matcha).
Material: 100% High quality Japanese white bamboo
Design: Lightweight with finely curve tines for smooth, foamy finish, featuring the ZenTea logo engraved on the top of the bamboo whisk.
Ideal use for preparing matcha drinks, matcha latte or other matcha-infused drinks.
Before each use, soak the bamboo whisk in hot water to soften the tines, making them more flexible and easier to whisk. To maintain your chasen shape, gently rinse with warm water and allow it to air dry on a whisk holder after each use. Avoid using a dishwasher, as the delicate bamboo tines may be damaged
